Tolo is a private social network that lives on your phone, not on a company server. Post, share photos and chat with the people you care about, with no ads, no tracking and no algorithm deciding what you see.

YOUR PHONE IS THE SERVER
Your photos stay on your phone. When a friend opens your post, the photo travels directly from your device to theirs. Only a small preview and your text go out through public relays, so no company keeps a copy of your pictures.

FRIENDS KEEP A COPY
Your text posts are signed with your key and cached on your followers' phones. Even when you are offline, they can still read what you shared, and nobody can change it.

PRIVATE MESSAGES
Chats are end-to-end encrypted on your device (NIP-17 and NIP-44). Relays only carry a sealed envelope; they cannot read your messages or see who you are talking to.

NO EMAIL, NO PASSWORD
Your identity is a key created on your phone. No phone number, no sign-up form. Back up your key and restore your account on any device, including the Tolo app for Windows.

WORKS WITH NOSTR
Tolo is built on Nostr, an open protocol. Follow people who use other Nostr apps such as Damus, Primal or Amethyst, or import the key you already have.

GOOD TO KNOW
Full photos load only while their owner's device is online. If it is offline you will see a preview and the full photo arrives by itself when they are back. Keep your private key safe: it is the only way to recover your account.
