Mill Stones

Mill Stones brings classic Nine Men's Morris to your break with a computer opponent and a board of three nested squares. Play as the light stones and make the first move. Place your nine stones on empty points, build rows of three to form mills, and capture opposing stones as you shape your position.

Once both sides have placed their stones, move along the board's connecting lines. Think ahead to open a mill, close it again, and earn another capture. When you have three stones remaining, flying lets you move to any empty point. Win by reducing the computer to two stones or blocking all its legal moves.

Highlighted destinations help you choose your next move, while capture highlights show which opposing stones you can remove. Follow the current phase, turn, and stone counts directly on the game screen. Distinct stone outlines complement the light and dark colors, and brief sound effects mark actions and the end of a game.

Your position is saved locally as you play, so you can return and continue from the same stage. Each finished game shows the result and its reason, including draws. Start another match from the result screen and try a different approach.
