AV Sync: Audio Delay, Lip Sync

Lips moving before you hear the words? Audio delay is one of the most irritating problems in a home setup — and most people never measure it, they just nudge a setting and hope.

AV Sync measures the actual audio delay of YOUR setup in about a minute, then tells you exactly what to change to fix lip sync — on TV speakers, a soundbar, an AV receiver over HDMI ARC, or Bluetooth headphones.

TWO WAYS TO MEASURE
• Tune by ear: shift a beep against a flash until they line up. Direct and precise.
• Reaction test: react to flashes, then to beeps. The difference between the two reaction times is the audio delay, with your own reflexes cancelled out.

THEN FIX IT
The app detects whether you're on TV speakers, HDMI/ARC or Bluetooth and gives you a guide ordered for your setup: where the lip sync (audio sync / AV sync) setting hides on TVs and soundbars, what to do about Bluetooth latency, and how to set an audio offset inside player apps.

FREE TO USE, ONE-TIME UNLOCK
The reaction test and the general setup guide are free, and give you a usable number on their own. A single one-time purchase unlocks the precise tune-by-ear measurement and the guide tailored to your setup. No subscription, no ads, no account.

WORKS ON
Android TV and Google TV devices — TV sets, streaming sticks and TV boxes — with any audio output: built-in speakers, soundbar, receiver or Bluetooth.

PRIVACY
Measurements run entirely on the device and are never uploaded. The network is used only for the Google Play purchase check.

HONEST NOTE
This app measures the audio delay and shows you how to correct it. Android does not let any app change your TV's system audio offset directly — that setting lives in your TV or soundbar menu, and the guide shows you where.
