About Haggis
Haggis is a climbing card game for two to four players. You shed your hand by
playing ever-stronger combinations, and whoever runs out of cards first takes
the round.
That part is simple. The rest is not. Three cards are yours alone — a Jack, a
Queen and a King, all wild. Spend them to make a combination bigger, or hold
them back and assemble a bomb that beats anything on the table. And before the
cards move at all, you bet on going out first. The bigger the bet, the more it
costs you when someone else gets there.
FOUR WAYS TO PLAY
• Two players — four suits, and a Haggis of eight cards waiting for whoever
goes out first
• Three players — the standard game: five suits and a Haggis of three
• Haggis and Tatties — bid to be the Shepherd and draw from the Haggis, with
the other two playing against you
• Haggis and Neeps — fixed partners across the table and 21-card hands
Plus optional per-card scoring and match lengths from a single round to a long
game.
OPPONENTS THAT ACTUALLY PLAY
Every variant has its own opponent, trained by self-play learning — six neural networks, one per table, all running on your device.
They hold wilds back. They counter-bombs. They know when a bet is worth
punishing.
OFFLINE, ALWAYS
No account, no ads, no tracking, no network of any kind. The
AI and the artwork are all on your device. It plays on a plane, in a cellar,
on a train going through a tunnel, and in the Scottish Highlands.

• 26 achievements
