About FODMAP Scanner: Low FODMAP

Build your meal, not just one food: scan your products, set each portion with a slider and see live whether your whole meal fits a low FODMAP diet. FODMAP Scanner adds up the FODMAPs in everything you eat. Following a low FODMAP diet and tired of decoding labels in the supermarket? FODMAP Scanner reads the ingredient list for you and shows what each product adds to your meal. HOW IT WORKS - Build your meal: pasta, sauce, cheese, dessert… add several products, their FODMAPs add up, and a green, orange or red light shows whether the whole meal fits. - Play with portions: one slider per product, the result changes live. Less sauce, more pasta? You see the effect straight away. - Scan your products: barcode, a photo of the ingredient list, or your fruit and vegetables laid on the table. WHAT YOU SEE STRAIGHT AWAY - The portion that stays "green" for each product, on its own or in your meal. - The FODMAP group involved: fructans, GOS, lactose, excess fructose, polyols (sorbitol, mannitol). - The ingredient responsible when the meal goes over the threshold. MADE FOR EVERY DAY - "Lactose-free" detected automatically, with a switch to correct it. - Aged cheeses recognised (virtually lactose-free). - "Contains gluten" badge. - Your usual products saved, so you can rebuild a meal in seconds. - Works with UK and US labels. - No account, no ads: your meals stay on your phone. FREE AND PREMIUM - Free: barcode scanning, typing an ingredient list, portion and meal calculation, and 5 free photo analyses. - FODMAP Scanner Premium: photo analysis of ingredient lists and food, for everyday use. 7-day free trial, then a monthly or annual subscription (price shown in the app before you subscribe). - Payment is charged to your Apple Account at the end of the trial. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it anytime in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. CALCULATIONS BASED ON SCIENCE FODMAP contents come from published scientific studies and the Ciqual food composition table (ANSES, France), with sources you can check in the app. Per-serving thresholds follow the scientific literature. Each food shows a reliability level (A, B or C), and when in doubt the most cautious value is used. IMPORTANT FODMAP Scanner is an information tool. It does not diagnose anything and does not replace advice from a doctor. A low FODMAP diet is best followed with a health professional, especially during the reintroduction phase.
