Vane: Video to Live Photo

Most apps just glue a photo and a video together. Vane asks first: where are you posting it? Every place has its own rules. Some play Live Photos, some cut them to a still, some only take video. Vane knows them, makes your Live Photo to fit, and tells you why when something has to change — nothing gets trimmed, sped up or dropped behind your back. MADE FOR WHERE IT'S GOING • Photos, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram Reels and Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, Pinterest, X — plus WeChat, rednote, Weibo and Douyin • The right length, ratio and resolution for each, with the source and check date shown for every rule • Places that don't play Live Photos get the video or GIF they do take: once, loop, bounce or reverse • Save one edit to several places at once — each gets its own copy that fits AN EDITOR FOR LIVE PHOTOS • Trim, choose the cover frame at full source resolution, crop to any ratio • Looks, film filters and a two-axis palette with skin-tone protection • Frames that keep moving: white border, info bar with your camera and lens, film strip, instant-film prints • Text, speed (0.5× / 2×), sound on or off, and music from your own files • Re-edit an existing Live Photo — new length, new cover, new crop CHECK & FIX • "Why won't it move?" — Vane checks a Live Photo and tells you in plain words whether it will play, be adjusted, or needs to become a video • One tap saves a repaired copy; the original is never touched MORE THAN ONE • Live collage: several Live Photos in one frame, all moving • Sequence: string clips or Lives into one video with fades • Batch: a whole set in one go, same destination KEEPS WHAT MATTERS • The original date, place and camera details travel with your Live Photo, so it lands on the right day in your library (you can turn this off) • HEIC cover + HEVC video, with an H.264 option for older devices • Motion Photo: one JPEG with the video inside, to send as a file FITS IN • Share a video from Photos straight to Vane • Edit a Live Photo inside Photos with the Vane extension • "Make a Live Photo" action for Shortcuts • iPhone and iPad, with split view and Stage Manager FREE, AND VANE PRO Free, forever: make, edit and save one at a time to any destination — no watermark, no ads, no limit.
