Mewgshot: Campus Cats

Mewgshot is a shared record of the cats that live on campus, kept by the people who look out for them. Point your camera at a cat. Mewgshot works out whether it’s a cat everyone already knows, and if it is, logs that you saw it. If it isn’t, you give it a name and a card. Every cat has a card: its photographs, where it’s been seen, the block it calls home, its tags, and reviews from the keepers who know it. Grade a cat and its CGPA moves. Pet it or feed it, and the card shows when it last had a meal, so the next keeper knows. The campus map shows where the cats have been seen. Once a season, each block elects one of its cats as mayor. Scans work without signal. A sighting made offline waits on your phone and saves itself when you’re back online. Your exact location is never shown to anyone: other keepers see only the campus block. You can delete your account and your records from Settings at any time. (†) Mewgshot is an independent student project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National University of Sciences and Technology.
