About Quiet: Minimal Launcher

Quiet turns your iPhone into a calmer phone. Your Home Screen becomes a short list of names instead of a grid of bright icons, and the apps that pull you in get a breathing pause before they open. A LIST, NOT A GRID • Pick the few apps you want within reach: they appear as a clean text list in Quiet and in the Quiet widget. • Tap a name in the widget and the app opens directly, with no detour through Quiet. • Choose from the apps on your iPhone, search for more, or add any other app with a shortcut. • Small, medium or large text; left, center or right. Pure black, or light by day and dark at night. • The time and date above your names in the widget, if you like. • A short guide helps you clear the icons and put the list on your first page. • Quiet itself in dark, light, or following your iPhone. A BREATH BEFORE THE FEED • Choose the apps to slow down with Apple's Screen Time. • When you open one, Quiet asks you to take a breath first. Then you decide: close it, or go on to the app. • Breathe First: a moment, 15 seconds, or as long as you choose, up to 3 minutes. Then the app stays open for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes or an hour. • Never: the app stays off during the hours you choose. • Up to three schedule windows a day, like mornings and evenings, with presets for evenings, sleep and the workday. • What for? Before you go through, Quiet asks why: reply to someone, something specific, bored, habit. Your answers show up in your report. • Pause for an Hour from Control Center, Siri or Shortcuts, and a Focus filter that turns the pause on with your Focus. • Rules for apps: give any app its own breath, Never, or its own daily limit. • A heads-up a minute before an app closes again, and 5 minutes before your schedule starts. • "The pause is working": Quiet checks itself and puts Screen Time right in one tap. STRICT MODE • Loosening any rule takes a 30-second breath, and during your Never hours the rules hold until the hours end. • Cap Open Anyway at 3, 5 or 10 a day; after that, the apps wait until tomorrow. • Optionally, keep apps from being deleted while Strict Mode is on. THE HOURS YOU GET BACK • Every week Quiet compares your screen time with your usual day before Quiet: "9 h back this week. That's 2 evenings." • A plain count of the times you went past the pause, by day and by app, and what for. Facts, not verdicts. • Your trend, week by week: the hours back and how often the pause came up, against your first week. • A streak of days within your goal, with a month calendar. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your Screen Time data never leaves your iPhone. Apple's frameworks keep it on the device, and Quiet has no account and no server of its own. • No ads. HONEST PRICING • Free: your text list, the widget and a pause for one app. • Quiet subscription: longer breaths, Never, schedules, rules for apps, Strict Mode, any number of apps, the honesty report, the streak and the trend. • Yearly or monthly with a 3-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The paywall shows the exact amount and the date of the first charge, and Quiet reminds you the day before your trial ends. • If you cancel, nothing on your phone gets locked: your list and your calls stay exactly where they are. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
