Decafly: Block Apps & Shorts

Decafly puts a wall in front of the apps that pull you in, and gives you a quieter way to use Instagram and YouTube when you still need them. TWO HALVES 1. A blocker for any app. Pick the apps you open without thinking. Every launch meets a block screen first, so opening one becomes a decision instead of a reflex. 2. A clean version of Instagram and YouTube. Decafly opens their official mobile websites inside this app, with Reels, Explore and Shorts hidden. Messages, Stories, profiles, search and long videos stay. To be exact about the second half: Decafly blocks the Instagram app, and separately offers a version of Instagram without Reels, inside this app. It does not reach into the apps on your Home Screen. No iPhone app can. THE BLOCKER • Block any app or category, using Apple's Screen Time. There is no list of supported apps. • Wait to open: tap once, wait the seconds you chose, tap again. The wait grows a little with each open you have already taken today. • Opens per day and minutes per open — five opens of five minutes by default. When an open runs out, the app locks itself again on its own. • Schedules: mornings, work hours, before bed or your own times, on the weekdays you pick. • Block now: hold everything for thirty minutes, an hour, or as long as you set. • A PIN that guards the way out, not the door. Looking at your settings never asks for it. Only a change that weakens your limits does. • Honest numbers: block screens you answered and opens used, today and over seven days. No score, no streak, no "hours saved". THE CLEAN VERSION • Instagram without the Reels tab, the Explore grid or suggested posts. • YouTube without the Shorts tab and the Shorts shelf. A Shorts link opens as an ordinary video. • Messages, Stories, profiles, search, notifications and long videos are left alone. • You sign in on Instagram's or YouTube's own pages. Your password goes to them. Decafly does not read what you type. • Every removal has its own switch, so you decide what the clean version takes away. DECAFLY PRO (OPTIONAL) • Strict mode: loosening a limit has to wait, so a weak moment passes first. • Insights: a review of every week and twelve weeks of the block screens you answered. • Up to six schedules instead of two. • Rest days with a looser pace, set ahead of time. • Block screen colours: Ember, Moss and Graphite. Decafly Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, yearly with a 7-day free trial or monthly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, or when the free trial ends. It renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. WHAT DECAFLY CANNOT SEE Decafly cannot see your screen, it cannot see your messages, and it cannot see the names of the apps you block. iOS never hands an app that information, and Decafly asks for no permission that would. WHAT IT IS NOT • No account, no sign-in, no email address. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier. • Blocking apps and the clean version are free, with no limit on how many apps you block. • It does not change, automate or unlock anything inside the Instagram or YouTube apps. • It is not treatment, and it does not diagnose anything.
