Slovo: Speech to Text

Slovo recognizes speech with a neural network right on your device. The recording and the text never leave it: no account, no sign-up, no uploads, no internet needed. Private by default. A meeting, a lecture, an interview, a voice message from a chat or a video: you get finished text you can reread, copy or send. No need to listen to an hour-long recording again to remember what was agreed. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Cloud services send your recording to a server and recognize it there. Slovo recognizes on the device itself: the app downloads a speech model once, and from then on audio and text are processed and stored with you. Sync between your devices goes through your own iCloud and can be turned off in Settings. HOW IT WORKS 1. Tap the button and talk. Or send audio or video from Voice Memos, Files, Photos or any chat through the Share sheet. 2. The text appears while you speak. You can leave the app, and the recording continues. 3. Copy the text or share it as a .txt file. The recording stays next to the transcript for as long as you need it. AI ON YOUR DEVICE • Speech recognition: 99 languages with auto detection, or pick the language yourself. • Long recordings in one go: a whole meeting, lecture or interview in one file. • Punctuation and timecodes: the text comes with punctuation, and timecodes show at which moment of the recording something was said. • Import audio and video: mp3, m4a, wav, mp4 and other formats. • Delete the audio after transcription if you no longer need it.
