Velis - Ritual

Velis is a calm, ritual-based app for the moment a craving appears. Instead of telling you to quit, Velis gives you a small, deliberate practice to run the moment you notice the urge: a 30-second ritual built around a single object on screen. You activate it, stay with it, and let the moment pass on your terms. Velis is built around smoking, but the practice is not only for smokers. If you would rather meet an urge with a pause than a reaction, the ritual works the same way — whatever the urge is. HOW IT WORKS - Notice the urge. Open Velis. - Start the ritual — a 30-second focused pause. - Tap the amber orbs during the ritual to stay present and earn XP. - Finish, and watch your journey move forward. YOUR JOURNEY Every completed ritual adds to your day count, your streak, and your XP. The journey is built to grow a sense of control over time — not to punish a slip. Miss a day and you simply pick up where you left off. Reward days along the way give a one-time XP boost. SOUND Three fully synthesised sound palettes — Ceramic, Singing Bowl, and Breath — plus a silent option. Nothing is a recording; every tone is generated live inside the app, so it stays tiny and works offline. PRIVATE BY DESIGN You can use Velis as a guest, with no account at all. Create a free account and it stores only what's needed to sync your progress across devices — your name, email, and in-app progress. No ads, no tracking, no data sold. The full list is in our Privacy Policy. Velis makes no medical claims and is not a substitute for professional help.
