No. Pevu connects phone to phone over WiFi without any internet access – and in travel mode through its own hotspot network. Do I need two phones? Two devices: one stays with your baby as the baby unit, one is your parent unit – phones or tablets. Audio baby monitor or video baby monitor? Both: audio with all alarms is free forever and without ads, live video comes with Pevu Full. What does Pevu Full cost? Your choice: monthly, yearly with 7 days free, or once for forever – one plan covers both of your devices. Does iPhone work with iPad? Yes, mix them any way you like, in either role. With an iPhone as parent unit, the Apple Watch app and a Live Activity show the status. Pevu is a baby monitor, not a medical device. It does not replace supervision by an adult.
