RAGChat: Offline AI Chatbot

RAGChat is an AI chatbot that runs on your iPhone itself — and actually reads your files: Word documents (.docx), spreadsheets (.xlsx), PDFs, CSVs, even photos. No account. No sign-up. No internet needed. Nothing you type, import, or photograph ever leaves the device — there is no server for it to go to. ASK YOUR OWN FILES Add a Word document (.docx), a spreadsheet (.xlsx), a PDF, a CSV, or your own pasted notes. Then ask questions about them in plain language: what did the contract say about notice, how many days off do I get, what time is that train. ASK ABOUT YOUR PHOTOS Snap something with the camera, or attach up to four pictures from your library, and ask about them: what does this sign say, what's written on this label, is this form filled in right. Ask a follow-up — the chat keeps your photos in mind. Photos are read on the device itself and never leave it. (Requires iOS 27.) EVERY ANSWER SHOWS ITS SOURCE Tap the little file chip under an answer and you jump straight to the exact lines it came from. You never have to take its word for it. IT SAYS WHEN IT DOESN'T KNOW If the answer isn't in your files, RAGChat tells you instead of making something up. TABLES AND CHARTS Ask for a comparison and you get a real table you can copy — then turn it into a bar, line, or pie chart with one tap. ALSO A NORMAL CHATBOT No documents needed. Plan a week of meals, write a difficult email, explain something you're stuck on, or just talk. ONE LIBRARY, SEPARATE CHATS Keep work files in one chat and personal notes in another. Each chat only sees the files you allow. GIVE IT A PERSONALITY Make it funnier, warmer, shorter, or more formal — with sliders or by simply asking. Add your own rules, like "never use emoji." READ ANY REPLY IN YOUR LANGUAGE Touch and hold a reply, tap Translate, and read it in the language you set. WORKS ON A PLANE, IN A TUNNEL, ANYWHERE There is nothing to connect to. Your files stay in the Files app under RAGChat, where you can open, back up, or delete them yourself. Requires Apple Intelligence turned on, iOS 26 or later.
