About Better Gif Bar: GIFs for Texts
BetterGifBar lives in the Messages app drawer — search, send, and caption GIFs without ever leaving your conversation. SEARCH WITHOUT LEAVING THE CHAT • Tap the drawer, search KLIPY's library, tap to send — the GIF drops straight into your reply • Recents and trending are already there when you open it, zero waiting MAKE IT YOURS — CAPTIONS • Add your own text to any GIF: classic meme lettering you drag anywhere, sized how you like • Stack as many lines as the joke needs — every caption gets its own timing on one shared timeline • Scrub to the exact frame and set when each line appears and disappears • Captioned GIFs render on your device and save to your recents for reuse YOURS • No accounts, no sign-in • Free FREE TO USE Search, sends, and captions with timing are free — no purchase, no subscription. Pinned captions (text that follows a face, a pet) are free for a week, then one every two weeks; Pro, a one-time purchase, makes pins unlimited and removes the small corner mark.
What’s new
Version 1.2 · Updated November 1, 2026
• Close the drawer in the middle of a caption edit and nothing is lost: "Continue your edit?" puts you back exactly where you were, pins and motion included. • Lots of captions on one GIF: past five, the caption lanes scroll, so Start here, Play and End here stay on screen. • Fine-tune a pinned caption's path: tap Path in the motion row, drag a dot to move it, double-tap a moved dot to undo. • "No text", a checkbox at the end of the pivot row, hides GIFs that already have lettering. Checked on your phone; nothing is uploaded. • "For your caption": type what you want to say and get scenes it could land on. • Pinned captions are never blocked. Past the free allowance you'll see a note about Pro now and then; "Not now" sends your GIF anyway. • Pro users can switch the small corner mark off at the bottom of the drawer. • Searches lean toward your language and region.
