About StockFit: Stock Term Guide

Anyone can show you the number "P/E 15". What nobody tells a beginner is whether that number is cheap or expensive. StockFit translates. ■ 333 terms in plain words Focused on stocks, in ten categories: basics, financial metrics, trading, charts, bonds, crypto assets, funds, FX, the economy and taxes. Each term has a one-line definition, a fuller explanation, an example with real numbers, and links to related terms. Where rules differ by country, such as taxes and trading, the explanation follows the country you set (Japan or Korea), and example amounts use its currency. ■ See the metric, not just the number 156 terms come with a figure: comparison bars, ratio rings, stacked bands, crossing lines, candlesticks, funnels and before-and-after bars. Each one draws itself as it appears, so the shape carries the meaning. ■ Find in a Screenshot Pick a screenshot of a brokerage app or news story, and the app finds the terms on it and links them to their explanations. Text is read on your device only; images are never saved or sent. ■ Ask in Your Words: chat with the bird Ask the white bird from our icon "What is EPS?" to see the glossary's explanation, on any device. On supported devices, the built-in AI also picks related terms for sentence questions. The bird's lines are written in advance, the AI only chooses terms, and every explanation is the glossary's own text. Questions never leave your device. ■ Siri, search and a daily term Look up terms from Siri or Home Screen search, and turn on a notification that brings one term of the day at a time you choose. ■ Japanese securities exam practice With your country set to Japan, the home screen offers practice for Japan's securities sales representative exam (in Japanese): 201 true/false and five-choice questions written from the text of the law. Free rounds draw 5 from ten easy questions, and each answer shows the explanation and the article behind it. "Remove Ads" adds practice from all 201 questions and a 70-question, 300-point mock exam in the Class 2 format. These are not actual exam questions, and the app is not affiliated with the exam's organizer. ■ Averaging calculator Enter what you paid and how many shares you hold, and it shows your average cost and total. No prices are fetched; the math uses only what you type. Fees and taxes are not included. Records stay on your device, with no backup. ■ Pick a company by name Browse 11,972 companies listed in Japan and the United States by sector, or search them by code or name. Codes, names, exchanges, sectors and short company summaries are included; no prices or other market data. ■ Search that forgives spelling Readings and body text are searched together, so small differences in how you type still find the term. ■ No account, works offline The glossary ships inside the app, so it reads with no connection. Bookmarks and records stay on your device. ■ Three languages Japanese, Korean and English, switchable in Settings at any time. ■ About ads This app shows ads. A one-time in-app purchase, "Remove Ads", turns them off and unlocks Portfolio, which shows your holdings together, plus all 201 questions and the mock exam, and unlimited Find in a Screenshot and Ask in Your Words on supported devices (before purchase, up to 3 free uses a day in total; asking by a term's name is always free). Nothing that is free today becomes paid after the purchase. [Please note] StockFit is an educational app for learning about investing. It is not investment advice. It does not recommend buying or selling any particular security, and every user sees the same explanations. The averaging calculator and Portfolio only show the arithmetic of the numbers you enter; they do not tell you what to do. Tax explanations describe how the system works and are not individual tax advice. The exam practice questions are written from the text of the law and are not actual exam questions. Investment decisions are your own responsibility.
