About Even: Bills Made Fair

Even is the fair, friction-free way to share costs with the people in your life: flatmates, travel crews, couples, teammates. Add a bill, pick who's in, and Even does the math so no one has to be the awkward one chasing an IOU. SPLIT IT HOWEVER IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED Not every bill is even. Split equally, by custom shares, by percentage, or line by line, right down to individual items, with shared charges like VAT, service, or a tip divided across everyone. SEE WHO OWES WHO, NO GUESSWORK Every group keeps a live running balance. Even shows the exact, direct payments that settle it, who pays whom, plainly, instead of a mystery "simplified" plan. Mark a payment received and the group's back to even. SPLIT WITH ANYONE, EVEN IF THEY'RE NOT ON EVEN Add someone by name as a guest and keep tracking what they owe, no sign-up needed on their end. When they join, swap the guest for their account and the history carries over. RECURRING BILLS, HANDLED Rent, utilities, subscriptions: set a bill to repeat weekly or monthly and Even logs each one for you, with a running count. Stop the series anytime. TRAVELLING? ANY CURRENCY Log expenses in 150+ currencies and Even converts them to your group's currency automatically with up-to-date rates, and the original amount is always kept. BUILT FOR REAL LIFE • Groups for trips, homes, couples, and events • A shared activity feed, so you see every add, edit, and payment • Full offline support; changes sync the moment you're back online • Sign in with email or Google From splitting rent with roommates to a group trip, a dinner out, or the monthly household bills, Even keeps the money quietly fair, so you can stay friends and stay even. Split any bill. Stay even.

What’s new

Version 1.1.4 · Updated October 7, 2026

• Invite with a link. In a group's settings, tap Share invite link and send it through any chat app. Friends open it to join, with no code to type. Pasting the link into Join a group works too. • Simplify payments. Switch it on for a group and Settle Up plans the fewest transfers, so one payment can clear two debts. It's off by default, so you still see exactly who owes whom. • Balance reminders. If you still owe something in a group, Even reminds you privately so nobody has to chase you. Reminders come weekly for the first month, then monthly. Only you get them, and they never appear in the group's activity. • Choose your notifications. Account → Notifications lets you turn Expenses, Payments, Members, Comments and the weekly balance reminder on or off. • Better on iPad. A two-pane layout: your list on the left, whatever you open on the right.
