About TakeAssist
TakeAssist helps you create polished talking-head videos with guided scripts, automatic captions, and social-media-ready exports. PREPARE YOUR SCRIPT Create a project, enter or paste your script, and save it as a draft. Return anytime to continue editing and start recording when you are ready. RECORD SENTENCE BY SENTENCE TakeAssist guides you through your script one sentence at a time. Listen to each prompt, record your response, and repeat individual takes until you are happy with the result. BUILD YOUR VIDEO Choose the takes you want to use and let TakeAssist combine them into one continuous video. You can review your recording and make adjustments before exporting. CAPTIONS BASED ON YOUR SCRIPT Captions use the original wording of your script. Your spelling, punctuation, and phrasing remain intact—even when speech recognition interprets individual words differently. CUSTOMIZE YOUR CAPTIONS Edit your captions directly in the app and choose from 16 different fonts. Adjust the appearance to match your content. Your caption design remains consistent between preview and export. MADE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA Export your finished video in the format you need: • 9:16 for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts • 4:5 for social media feed posts • 1:1 for square posts TakeAssist guides you from your first script to a finished video—without a complicated editing workflow. Creating projects, saving drafts, and recording videos does not require an export credit. Exporting a locked project requires one export credit. Once a project has been unlocked, it can be exported again without using another credit. In-app purchases are available.
