About UIGEO: Storm, Hail & Frost
UIGEO watches the sky over the exact spot you care about — your home, your field, your orchard — and tells you what is about to happen there. THUNDERSTORMS AND LIGHTNING Lightning appears on the map as it strikes. When a thunderstorm heads toward one of your saved places, you hear about it before it arrives: "Thunderstorm expected · in about 18 min." The details show its arrival time, speed and heading — and once it is overhead, when it will pass. LOCK SCREEN AND DYNAMIC ISLAND While a thunderstorm approaches or rain is falling, a live card stays on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: how many minutes are left, and how long until it passes or eases. No need to open the app. WHEN WILL THE RAIN STOP While it rains, the card shows how long until it eases and around what time: "Expected to ease around 3:00." FROST An overnight frost is the difference between a harvest and a loss. UIGEO reads the forecast for your own coordinates and warns you the evening before, not the morning after. HAIL AND FLOOD Severe hail and heavy rain flooding alerts for the places you have saved. YOUR FIELD, NOT YOUR CITY Most weather apps answer for a city centre. UIGEO answers for the coordinates you pin, down to the field. FIELD DASHBOARD - Spraying window: wind, gusts, rain and humidity combined into a simple go or wait answer - Frost risk for the coming nights - Soil temperature and soil moisture - Rainfall accumulated over recent days - Hourly detail and a seven day forecast, day by day YOUR PLACES, YOUR SETTINGS Add your home, your work and your field, and draw the field boundary on the satellite map. Choose which alerts each place sends, the morning briefing and the lock screen card in Settings. Available in 11 languages. UIGEO is not an official weather service. Alerts are based on models and observations and can be wrong. Use them alongside official warnings, not instead of them.
What’s new
Version 1.0.14 · Updated October 15, 2026
• Rain heads-up: a card now opens on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island before rain arrives — “Rain expected around 15:00”. • While it rains, the card shows when it should stop (“until about 21:00”) and closes by itself after 30 minutes. No sound. • Choose how early you hear about rain in Settings: off, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. • Corrected storm alert wording in several languages. • Smaller fixes and improvements.
