About Sleep Habits: N of 1

Find what actually improves your sleep. The internet says what improves sleep in general. A tracker says how you slept. Sleep Habits: N of 1 answers the question that matters: what works for YOU? Pick a research-backed sleep experiment — caffeine cutoff, morning daylight, a consistent wake time, screen-free evenings and more. Log a few baseline nights, then make the change. A 15-second morning check-in is all it takes. When the experiment ends, your own data delivers the verdict: HELPED · NO CLEAR EFFECT · MAY HAVE MADE IT WORSE No wishful thinking. "No clear effect" is a real finding too — it saves you from running habits that do nothing for you. WHAT YOU GET • 12 research-backed sleep experiments, each grounded in published studies • Honest recommendations — the app will even tell you when an experiment is probably NOT right for your situation • Baseline → experiment design, so you compare against your own normal • A 15-second morning check-in: sleep quality, restedness, time to fall asleep • A clear result page — plain language, no made-up percentages • Retest any result to see if the effect repeats • Your personal Sleep Playbook: what helped, what didn't, kept for good • A Lock Screen widget with your current experiment, always at a glance • Custom experiments for anything else you want to test NO STREAKS. NO GUILT. A missed day is a data point, not a broken chain. Reminders are quiet and optional. Nothing nags forever — every experiment has an end date. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your data stays on your device. No account. No cloud. FREE & PRO Your first experiment is free — recommendation, baseline, result and playbook included. Lab Pro is for continuing: run as many experiments as you want (one honest test at a time), retest your results, keep your full archive, and export everything as Markdown/CSV. Your sleep is the lab. What’s new

Version 2.1 · Updated September 9, 2026

Your experiment ends on your last check-in. Log the final morning and your result opens right away — no more waiting for the calendar to roll over. A morning check-in now closes the day before (last night belongs to the day you ran the experiment), so the first and last nights are counted where they belong. Custom pacts end on their last "Did it" too. My Sleep Playbook files a finished experiment under its result right away — choosing what's next can wait. New sections for what's running, finished and paused, and your own notebook now sits above the untested library. Every choice tells you where it went: Keep, Retest, Drop and Pause each confirm what happened and where to find it. Check in straight from an experiment's page, and answer buttons now clearly show what's open and what you've answered.
