About Hours: Roman Breviary

Hours is a companion for praying the Roman Breviary according to the 1960 rubrics. Latin office texts and neumes, from Matins to Compline with optional English translations. THE COMPLETE DAILY OFFICE • Matins, Lauds, Prime, Terce, Sext, None, Vespers, and Compline • Calendar, liturgical season, rank, and observance for the selected day CHANT Responsive native Gregorian notation adapts to iPhone, iPad, orientation, and text size. A built-in cantor guide supports tempo, transposition, phrase looping, tap-to-start practice, and synchronized highlighting with tone audio. Hours follows the 1960 Roman rubrics, which took effect in 1961 and were incorporated into the 1961 Roman Breviary. It is an independent prayer and reference aid, not an official liturgical publication, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Holy See or another ecclesiastical authority.
