Rodovid — Family Tree

Rodovid is a private family tree app that the whole family can build together — without accounts, servers or subscriptions to get started. DESIGNED FOR OLDER ADULTS Rodovid follows published usability research for older adults (Nielsen Norman Group findings, W3C accessibility guidelines for older users, WCAG AAA contrast) and academic touch-interaction studies: large buttons and text, contrast above 7:1, every action available with a single tap, nothing hides behind gestures, no timers and no tricks. Grandparents can use it on their own — and they are often the ones who remember the most. THE FAMILY RELAY One relative starts the tree and sends the file through any messenger or email. Another relative opens it, adds their part of the family and sends it back. Rodovid merges the changes and shows who added whom. No sign-ups, no cloud — the family history stays in the family. WHAT RODOVID CAN DO • Family tree on a fast canvas: hundreds of people, pinch or buttons to zoom • Quick add: "Mom", "Dad", "Son", "Daughter" — one tap, one short form • Approximate dates: "about 1920", "between 1910 and 1915" — like real family memory • Photos: camera, gallery, and a scan mode that straightens old paper photos • Audio stories: record a relative's voice right on their card — 24 memory questions suggest what to ask • Fan chart of ancestors and family statistics • Birthday reminders for living relatives • PDF printing that we are proud of: posters up to A0, an A4 series with assembly marks, family group sheets and a "Family Book" with a page per person • GEDCOM import and export — works with other genealogy programs • Privacy of the living: their data is masked in shared exports by default • Works fully offline. Your data stays on your device. RODOVID PRO The free version includes one tree, up to 10 people added by hand and PDF printing with a clearly visible Rodovid watermark. Rodovid PRO — as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase — removes the limits: unlimited people and trees, merging changes from relatives, GEDCOM import, printing without the watermark. • Monthly: €3.59 / month • Yearly: €29.99 / year The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled anytime in your store account settings. Sending and opening family relay files is always free; the first merge is free. LANGUAGES English, Ukrainian, German, Russian, Italian, French, Spanish, Polish, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Czech. PRIVACY No account is required. Your family data never leaves your device unless you yourself share a file. Crash reports and usage statistics are optional and can be turned off in Settings.
