What’s new

Version 4.4.0 · Updated October 15, 2026

- New: Add Markers at Silences (Pro) finds the pauses between tracks and drops a marker in each, ready to split. - New: save markers as chapters in MP3 and M4A/M4B (Pro). Chapters in a file you open appear as named markers. - New: Trim Silence (Pro) cuts the silence at the start and end. - New: ReplayGain tags - QAudioEditor measures the loudness and tags the file so players level the volume, without touching the audio. - Name your markers: touch and hold a marker's flag and choose Rename. Split at Markers names each file after its marker and sets the title and artist tags (MP3, M4A and FLAC). - Editing tags in MP3 and M4A files now keeps all their other tags. FLAC files keep their tags and cover when saved, and their tags can now be edited. - Silent passages are now drawn flat on the waveform. - Fixes and improvements.
