Bauble:Screentime + Flashcards

Bauble blocks the apps that eat your day — and makes you learn something to get them back. REAL BLOCKING, ON YOUR SCHEDULE Pick the apps and websites you want locked and the hours you want them locked. Bauble uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework, so blocking is system-level, not a timer you can swipe away. Outside your chosen windows, nothing is blocked. When a block is active and you open a locked app, you hit the shield — and the only way in is to learn. UNLOCK BY ANSWERING, NOT BY CAVING Tap "Read to unlock" and Bauble shows one card: a short fact and a single question. Answer correctly and your phone unlocks for as long as you set (15 minutes by default, adjustable). Miss it and you see the correct answer and why — then try a different card. No mindless guessing; you have to actually read. BUILT-IN MCAT DECKS Studying for the MCAT? Bauble ships with MCAT decks built in. Every time you reach for a distraction during study hours, it drills you on real MCAT material instead. Your weakest moments of willpower become spaced-repetition reps — the thing that used to break your focus starts reinforcing it. IMPORT YOUR OWN ANKI DECKS Already study with Anki? Bring your own .apkg decks straight into Bauble. Language, med school, the bar — your unlock questions become your actual coursework. Imported decks keep their hierarchical tags, so you can study by tag and narrow every unlock down to the exact chapter or topic you're revising. A COLLECTION WORTH KEEPING Every fact you get right is collected — stamped, numbered, and filed into a pack: Science, History, Nature, Space, Language, and more. Over time your home screen fills with a real library of what you've learned, plus simple stats: streak, total collected, and accuracy. No leaderboards, no confetti — just progress that lasts. RESPECTS YOUR REAL LIFE - Set a different schedule for each day of the week. - Pause blocking anytime — the switch is easy to find, not buried. - Choose how much time each correct answer earns. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE-FIRST The blocking and quiz loop work with no signal — on a flight, on the subway, anywhere. No analytics SDKs, no behavioral trackers. Because Bauble is built on Family Controls, it can't even see the names of the apps you block. Sign in with Apple to sync your collection across devices; turn the network off and everything essential still works. FREE TO START The core loop — blocking, quiz-to-unlock, and your collection — works from first launch, offline, forever. Premium adds collection sync across devices, Anki import, and study-by-tag, available monthly or annually. Trade a fact for your phone back.
