About OR-1 MIDI Sequencer
OR-1 makes no sound on its own. It's a generative MIDI Note-FX — the brain, not the sound source — that plays your own synths, samplers, and drum machines for you… - Euclidean - Polyrhythm - Stochastic drift - Modulators - Scale quantizer with chord lock - Temp and random for performance - MIDI Learn - 19 factory presets, including 13 rhythm kits for General MIDI drums - Save your own presets - Light and dark themes — tap the OR—1 logo - Full-screen layout that grows to fill the 13-inch iPad and reflows to fit smaller iPads

What’s new
Version 1.2.1 · Updated October 20, 2026
OR—1 now fills the screen. On the 13-inch iPad the whole layout grows and spreads out to the edges, with the voice rows, visualizer and footer using the full display. On the 11-inch iPad and iPad mini it reflows to fit. Bigger touch targets: the pills now get 44 pt tap areas wherever there is room, and the chord-lock controls are easier to hit. The visualizer is sharper, drawn at full Retina resolution. MIDI Learn stays armed when you tap the control you are assigning. Several factory presets now use the modulators more: Tuplet Fracture, Markov Debris, Aksak Nine and Chord Bloom route M1, M2 and M3 across all four voices.
