You type salam. Your family sees سلام. Fingilish is a phonetic Persian keyboard for everyone who speaks Persian but types it in English letters. Type Persian the way it sounds — every word appears in real Persian script the moment you press space. No new alphabet to learn. No copy-pasting between apps. Add it once in Settings and it works everywhere you type — Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Notes, email, everything.
