ShiftBuddy - Track Work Hours

ShiftBuddy helps you log shifts, track work hours and see estimated pay without keeping a spreadsheet on the side. Record start and end times, breaks, notes and overnight shifts. Manage multiple jobs, currencies, pay rates, raises, overtime and double-time rules, plus presets for recurring shifts. See this week at a glance, browse calendar views, search your full history and compare job stats from the My Jobs dashboard. Set weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly or monthly pay schedules, follow pay-period goals and keep the payday widget close by. Export professional timesheets as PDF or CSV, share them when needed, or back up and import all app data as JSON. Your data is local-first, with optional iCloud sync across devices. No separate ShiftBuddy account is required, and Face ID or Touch ID can add an extra layer of privacy. Built for real shift work: • Log a shift in seconds, then edit, duplicate, copy, share, or save it as a preset. • Track paid and unpaid breaks, notes, overnight shifts, and manual overtime adjustments when your day does not fit a simple formula. • Manage active and previous jobs with colors, currencies, role details, workplace info, pay history, and job-specific settings. • Add pay raises by effective date and named rates for special roles, departments, weekend work, holiday shifts, or different responsibilities. • Let ShiftBuddy estimate regular, overtime, and double-time earnings from your rules, while keeping hours and pay totals easy to scan. Plan around payday: • Set weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, or monthly pay cycles for each job. • See accrued earnings for the current pay period, progress toward a pay-period goal, and a countdown to your next payday. • Use payday reminders and the payday widget to keep upcoming deposits visible without opening the app. Review, search, and report: • Browse day, week, and month calendar views, plus a full history of past weeks and months. • Search saved shifts by date, weekday, job, note, rate name, or amount earned. • Compare jobs with stats such as total hours, earned pay, average shift, longest shift, days worked, effective rate, overtime hours, and recent shifts. • Export a date range or a single job as a clean PDF or CSV timesheet for managers, payroll, invoices, reimbursement, or your own records. • Back up and import your jobs, rates, shifts, breaks, notes, and reminders as JSON whenever you want a portable copy. Your data stays practical and private. ShiftBuddy is local-first, supports optional iCloud sync across your devices, does not require a separate ShiftBuddy account, and can be protected with Face ID or Touch ID. It is designed for iPhone and iPad, whether you work retail, hospitality, healthcare, delivery, security, freelance jobs, student shifts, seasonal work, or any schedule that changes week to week.
