Yomi turns the Japanese books, manga and web articles you read into a reading experience built for learners and readers alike. Import an EPUB, PDF or text file, or open any web page, and read it the way it was meant to be read, vertical or horizontal, with furigana over the kanji and a dictionary a tap away. Press play, and Yomi reads the chapter aloud while a highlight moves word by word, in time with the narration. You hear the sentence and see exactly where you are in it. It removes captions, related links and other clutter, and never rewrites the article. MANGA • Import CBZ, ZIP, image or PDF volumes and read them right to left. • With Membership, tap a page to read its speech bubbles as text you can look up word by word, with an optional English translation. YOUR OWN LIBRARY • Import EPUB, PDF and TXT files, or open them straight into Yomi from Files, Mail or the share sheet. • Reading order, chapters and titles are pulled from the book itself. • Scanned or image-only books with no text layer are recognized by AI so you can read and hear them too. STUDY TOOLS FOR MEMBERS • Long-press a word to loop its sentence. • Save words with their sentence and export the list for Anki. • Mark words as known and their furigana disappears. • Find every place a word appears in the book and jump to it.
