FairTab: Restaurant Fees

You sit down, enjoy your meal, and then the check arrives with a "service fee," a card surcharge, and a tip screen that starts at 25%. FairTab exists so that never catches you off guard again. FairTab is a community-powered guide to what restaurants really charge. Look up any restaurant and see its FairTab Score, a 0–100 value rating, built from verified fee data, that shows how much you'll pay in added fees like service charges, surcharges, and tip prompts before you ever sit down. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO • Search restaurants near you and see their FairTab Score at a glance • A color-coded shield (Gold, Green, Yellow, or Red) tells you what to expect in seconds • See the actual fees reported for each restaurant: service charges, credit card surcharges, and more DINE WITH CONFIDENCE • No awkward surprises at checkout • Walk in already knowing the fee structure • Spot the restaurants that keep it fair, and the ones that don't BUILT ON VERIFIED DATA • Scores come from real fee data submitted by diners and by restaurants themselves • Restaurants can claim their listing and verify their own fee details • Report the fees you were charged in about 30 seconds and help everyone dine smarter FairTab doesn't tell restaurants what to charge, and it doesn't take sides on tipping. It simply shows you the fees, so you can decide for yourself. Dine with confidence. Know what you'll really pay before you sit down. Questions or feedback? Visit getfairtab.com.
