Mellow for Apple Music

Turn any idea into a playlist Describe the moment. Mellow works its magic. Discover an artist you haven't heard before. Settle into deep focus. Wind down for sleep. Or turn dinner with friends into a dance floor. Mellow turns your ideas into playlists for Apple Music that you can listen to, shape, and save. An eligible Apple Music subscription is required. START WITH WHAT YOU HAVE IN MIND You don't need the perfect search term or a list of song titles. Describe what you want to hear: an activity, a mood, a favorite artist, a genre, an era, or something new to explore. Try asking: - "Help me focus with instrumental music that stays in the background." - "Find mellow songs for winding down before sleep." - "Introduce me to artists beyond my usual favorites." - "Start dinner warm and relaxed, then build toward a dance floor." DISCOVER SOMETHING DIFFERENT Revisit a sound you love or venture beyond your usual rotation. Mellow creates a playlist draft and checks the songs against the Apple Music catalog in your region. Open Studio to explore the result. MAKE IT YOURS Review the songs, change their order, remove tracks, and undo an accidental removal. Choose your preferred playlist length in Settings: 10, 15, 20, or 25 songs. You can also choose whether to allow explicit tracks. PRESS PLAY, STAY HERE Listen right inside Mellow. Jump to a song, skip, seek, shuffle, repeat, and explore your queue in Now Playing. Go from an idea to a listening session without switching apps. KEEP THE PLAYLISTS YOU LOVE Save favorites in Mellow and sync them with iCloud when you're signed in. Export a copy to your Apple Music library whenever you choose. If a draft isn't for you, discard it and try another idea. SHARE A LITTLE MAGIC Send a mix through Messages as a playlist card with artwork and a personal note. Start in Mellow, or open Mellow from the Messages app menu to choose a mix. Recipients can open the shared playlist in Mellow, save it, and listen with an eligible Apple Music subscription. GET TO KNOW YOUR TASTE Insights brings your library into focus with a genre breakdown, library totals, and most-played songs, artists, and albums where listening data is available. Rediscover a favorite and start playing it in Mellow. AI PLAYLIST PLANS Start with 5 AI playlist creations each month on the Free plan. Optional monthly plans give you more room to explore: - Starter: 20 creations per month - Plus: 75 creations per month - Mellow Max: 200 creations per month Paid Mellow plans increase the AI playlist allowance; they do not include an Apple Music subscription. Plans renew automatically unless canceled. Manage or cancel your plan in your App Store account settings. GOOD TO KNOW Sync Library is required for optional Apple Music export. Song availability varies by region, and the final playlist length may depend on available matches. For personalization, your prompts and a compact library taste profile may be sent to Mellow's AI service. Shared playlist snapshots are hosted by Mellow and can be opened by anyone with the shared card. Your personal note stays in Messages. See the Privacy Policy for details.
