Velvet Hour: White Noise

Trying to unwind before bed, settle into focused work, or help your baby sleep? Velvet Hour brings rain, ocean waves, firelight, forests, cafés, and other immersive soundscapes within one tap. Choose a scene and begin, or layer the sounds you love and adjust each volume to create an atmosphere of your own. Whether you are sleeping, focusing, meditating, or simply taking a quiet break, Velvet Hour adapts to the moment you need. ■ Step into a place, not a playlist Each scene pairs a cinematic visual with immersive ambient sound. Choose rain, waves, a crackling fire, or a quiet forest, then let the rest of the room fade away. ■ Shape the sound you want Layer scenes with live white, pink, brown, and other noises. Adjust each volume separately and save the combinations that feel right, so your favorite atmosphere is always one tap away. ■ Easier nights Set a sleep timer and let the sound fade out gently when time is up. Playback continues in the background and on the Lock Screen, making it easy to use at bedtime or while soothing a baby. ■ Calm and focus Add a singing bowl, temple bell, or wind chime over an ambient scene — or over silence. Choose an interval and duration for meditation, reading, study, or uninterrupted focus. ■ Listen wherever you are Control playback from the Lock Screen, AirPods, CarPlay, or AirPlay. ■ Start free, upgrade when you need more Enjoy selected scenes, live noises, essential mixing, and Calm for free.
