One family subscription covers the calendar; each family member does not need to buy separately FREE SHARING STAYS USEFUL Basic family sharing, up to 12 schedule profiles, weekly repeats, a reminder, the Today widget, and complete ICS/CSV exports are available without Pro. Free includes one newly attached photo per event; Pro supports up to four. Existing photos and calendar data remain available after Pro ends. The number of free editing devices is shown in the app. An eligible family can try Pro features for 30 days. This family trial does not automatically charge you or start a subscription. Continuing with a paid plan requires a separate purchase. After the trial, the family's free editing allowance applies and additional devices become view-only; existing calendar data is retained. School-handout text recognition runs on the iPhone; that tool does not upload the source image. Saved event details sync with your family.
