About PearCal: P2P Calendar
PearCal is a peer-to-peer calendar app that syncs directly between devices — no server, no cloud, no accounts required. Your calendar data never leaves your group. It lives only on the devices of the people you choose to share with, powered by Hypercore Protocol. FEATURES Peer Groups Create a group and invite others via a share link or QR code. Each group has its own color and avatar. Members see only the events shared with them. Events & Reminders Create one-time or recurring events. Set a reminder time per event. Selectively share events with specific group members — not everyone in a group has to see every event. Holidays Optional US, Canada, and UK public holiday calendars. Toggle per country from your profile. Holiday events are read-only and stored locally only. Privacy First No account creation. No email address. No tracking. No ads. Your data stays on your devices. Open Source PearCal is free and open source. Source code is available on GitHub. PERMISSIONS Camera — used to set your profile photo and scan QR invite codes. Photo Library — used to set your profile photo.

What's new in PearCal New Features - Back up your calendars to PeerLoom Seeder, an always-on helper that keeps your shared calendars available while your phones are off. One seeder now works for all your PeerLoom apps. - Choose which calendars go to your seeder, using a switch for each one. Everyone in the group can see who added the seeder. - If you already use a PearCal seeder, a short note tells you about PeerLoom Seeder. You can switch to it, keep your current seeder or use both. Improvements - All your seeders now appear together in one Seeders section in Settings, with a single "Scan seeder QR" button, a "Paste a link instead" option and a link to get PeerLoom Seeder. - Adding or removing a seeder now shows clear progress messages, so you know when it is done. - When you stop using a seeder, your data stays on it for 7 days before it is deleted, in case you change your mind. Bug Fixes - PeerLoom Seeder can now be reached when your phone and the seeder are on the same home network. - Stopping a seeder now removes every calendar from it. Before, one could be missed. - The relay setting no longer sometimes goes missing when the app first opens.
