Fungalscan: Fungal Acne Scan

Fungal acne (the common name for Malassezia or pityrosporum folliculitis) reacts to specific ingredients: certain oils, fatty acids, fatty-acid esters, and polysorbate or fatty-alcohol compounds that Malassezia yeast can feed on. General "clean ingredient" scanners are not built around this and routinely miss the ones that matter. HOW IT WORKS 1. Point your camera at the ingredients panel. 2. Fungalscan reads the label and checks each ingredient against a curated, fungal-acne-focused database. 3. You get a clear result - No Triggers, Caution, or Avoid - with the specific flagged ingredients called out. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT • A 689-entry database built specifically around fungal-acne triggers, not generic "good vs bad" scoring. • It catches subtle triggers that broad scanners overlook, such as lecithin, palmitoyl peptides, and oleth and steareth esters. • Plain-language reasons. Every flag explains, in everyday words, why an ingredient is on the list. • Safer Swaps. When a product is flagged, Fungalscan suggests ingredient categories and examples that are generally considered fungal-acne friendly. FEATURES • Camera label scanning with on-screen results • No Triggers / Caution / Avoid verdicts with per-ingredient detail • Plain-language explanations for every flagged ingredient • Safer Swap suggestions on flagged products • A short self-check covering common fungal-acne patterns (informational, not a diagnosis) • Scan history saved on your device • Rotating practical tips • Light and dark mode FREE AND PREMIUM Fungalscan includes free scans to try it out.
