About Bipolar Notes

"It's hard to put how I've been doing into words before an appointment." "When I'm doing well, I can't remember what the hard times felt like." Bipolar Notes was designed from the point of view of someone living with bipolar, based on experiences like these. Simply record your mood, sleep, medication, and steps, and look back on your own patterns day by day. ■ Please note This app is a tool for recording your days and looking back on them. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it doesn't give medical advice. If you need to make a decision about your health, talk with your doctor. ■ Record • Mood Choose from -2 to +2, and add a note if you like. You can write your own words for each level. • Medication Record taken or missed for morning, midday, evening, bedtime, and as needed. Recent days are shown in a table, so you can see whether doses were missed in a row. • Sleep Choose when you went to bed and when you woke up, and the app works out how long you slept. • Steps and sleep from Apple Health Connect Apple Health to bring in your steps and sleep automatically. ■ Look back You can compare different kinds of records, such as mood and sleep, or mood and steps. • See each item stacked on one screen, with a 7-day average line • Choose the period you want to see • Days you recorded a missed dose are marked on the chart • Days with notes are marked ■ Recent summary Turn your recent mood, sleep, and steps into one image and save it to Photos. You choose the period, the items, and the look. ■ Keep going • Get reminders in three time slots (morning, midday, and evening) at the times you choose. Turn off any you don't need • Add a record for a day you missed by choosing the date • Edit your records afterward ■ Your records Your records are stored only on your iPhone. No account is needed. The app doesn't send your records anywhere for cloud storage, ads, or usage tracking. You can export a backup of your records and keep it wherever you like, such as in the Files app.
