About RingBreathe: Stress Relief

RingBreathe gives you somewhere to stop and breathe. Pick an exercise, follow the ring as it grows and shrinks, and let it set the pace for a few minutes. When a moment gets too much, Instant Relief starts straight away: a short calming breath pattern, then the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise to bring your attention back to the room you are in. There are 23 breathing exercises, from Box Breathing and 4-7-8 to the Physiological Sigh, Resonant Breathing, Extended Exhale and Humming Bee, sorted by what they are for: Reset, Anxiety, Focus and Sleep. The ring shows when to breathe in, hold, breathe out and rest, with a cue for nose or mouth. A voice can count you through it, your phone can vibrate on each change, or you can mute everything and just watch the ring. If none of them suit you, the Exercise Builder lets you make your own from the phases, seconds and rounds you choose. For winding down, nine narrated guided journeys take you somewhere quieter, like a beach or a lookout, or through a slow release of tension from head to toe. The text follows the narration so you can read along, and it is available in six languages. Save your favourites, see your sessions and your streak, and choose the voice you like. On Apple Watch the pacer sits on your wrist, and sessions can be saved to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. RingBreathe has no account and no tracking. Your history stays on your devices and, on iPhone, syncs through your own iCloud. Instant Relief and the first exercise in each section are free. One purchase, with no subscription, opens everything else.

What’s new

Version 1.3.2 · Updated October 19, 2026

Clearing Session History now says exactly what is removed (your saved sessions) and what stays: favorites, custom exercises, presets and settings. The privacy notes in Settings now explain that, when you are signed in to iCloud, your favorites, custom exercises, presets and history sync through your own iCloud account to your other Apple devices. They are also clearer about Apple Health: when you allow it, the Apple Watch app saves completed sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes.
