What’s new
Version 1.43 · Updated October 1, 2026
PROFILES ARE HERE Everyone at home gets their own Strimix. • Who's watching? Create a profile for each person, with 56 new avatars to choose from. • Each profile keeps its own favorites, watch history, progress and Home. • Lock a profile with a 4-digit PIN, typed straight from the keyboard. Forgot it? Reset it with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. • Lock categories. Pick the categories you want hidden behind a PIN, and their titles stay out of Continue Watching, history and Discover until you unlock them. • Give each profile its own portal, while the main profile manages everything. • Profiles, PINs and locks sync across your devices with iCloud. • Switch profile any time from the top of the sidebar. A BETTER PLAYER • New Up Next card that shows the next episode's artwork. • Seamless hand-off between episodes. • A new Strimix loading animation throughout the app. DISCOVER • Bigger posters, five to a row. • Titles appear in order as they load. FASTER • Noticeably smoother browsing and scrolling. • Movie and show pages close instantly when you go back. • Much less work in the background while the app is idle. ALSO • Many fixes and refinements.
