Commuter • Bay Area Departures

Commuter — Bay Area Transit Know exactly when to leave. Commuter is a minimal transit companion for Bay Area riders. Save the stops you use every day, check live arrival times at a glance, and get notified the moment your train is close enough to matter. Save Your Stops Add the BART stations, Muni Rail stops, Muni Bus stops, and Caltrain platforms you actually use. Your stops are always one tap away, right on the home screen. Live Arrivals Real-time departure minutes, refreshed automatically every 30 seconds. See every line and direction at a glance — no digging through schedules. Watch Mode Set a threshold — 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes — and Commuter will notify you the moment a train is within reach. Choose exactly which lines and destinations to watch so you only hear about the rides that matter to you. Filter Your View Hide the lines you never take. Arrivals show only what's relevant to you, keeping the screen clean and readable. Nearby Stops First When adding a new stop, Commuter uses your location to sort stations by distance — so the closest options always appear at the top. Supports BART, Muni Rail, Muni Bus, and Caltrain.
