Kay's Records

One line, whenever: your own random-thoughts timeline. One photo becomes moving pixel art. If writing a lot never stuck, try one easy line this time. Pick a mood, write a line, and today's entry is done. Your days add up to a picture calendar and a life map, and a new episode from Kay, the person who made this app, arrives every day. If you like, write with friends, too. ■ On your own, one line is enough · One line a day, up to 300 characters · Pick one of five moods · No need to write much — one line is today's record ■ Don't feel like typing? Draw it in pixels · Choose a photo and it turns into pixel art · Or place the pixels yourself on a blank canvas · Add frames to make it move, and save it as a GIF · Photos are converted on your device. They are never sent to a server ■ Collect them: a picture calendar and a life map · Each day's drawing fills a square of your picture calendar · Star the days that matter · Zoom out and only the stars remain — your life as a map ■ Read Kay's episodes · Kay is the person who made this app · Kay's real entries arrive each day, at the hour they were written · You only receive them — what you write never reaches Kay · Don't want them? Turn them off in Settings ■ Write with friends, too · Invite with one link · Only entries you mark as shared are sent · Get notified the moment a friend's entry arrives · See your friends' and Kay's entries side by side with your own ■ Missed days are just a Comma · Miss a day? A Comma keeps your timeline going · No red warnings, no guilt ■ Your entries are yours · Stored on your device and in your account only · Only entries you share are sent to friends Available in Korean, English, Spanish, and Japanese.
