About MoodFlow - Private Mood Diary

Bright days, tired evenings, and the low moods you can’t quite name all deserve to be seen gently. MoodFlow is a private, warm app for recording your feelings and spending time with a healing pet. Choose one of seven panda faces — glad, angry, worried, preoccupied, sad, afraid, or startled — leave a short note, and keep this moment. Moods are no longer a score from 1 to 5. As entries gather, you can look back through the calendar, trends, weekly notes, and monthly reports, and notice the small shifts in yourself. Mori the panda will not rush you, and will not blame you for a missed day. It now lives by the real day: dawn, afternoon, and night change where it waits in the courtyard and how it moves. The Home Screen widget, the daily reminder, and Mori’s page can ask “how are you today?” in five seconds. After you write a mood, Mori answers with a line from your own earlier diary — not a stock phrase. At night you can say goodnight. During cherry blossoms, the rainy season, Tanabata, Mid-Autumn, autumn leaves, the winter solstice, New Year, and Lunar New Year, the courtyard quietly changes season. You can still pat it, hug it, feed it, or play, and you can wade in the shallow pool or climb the log slide. After you write down your mood, a few minutes with Mori is also a little time you keep for yourself. Mori sometimes travels alone. Letters arrive from the road, and it may bring back an outfit, a room decoration, or a memory. You can keep those stories, and arrange the room the way you like. While it is still away, the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island show that it is still on the way. One tap takes you back to the courtyard. Main features: - Record a mood with seven panda faces: glad, angry, worried, preoccupied, sad, afraid, startled - Add life tags, including tags you write yourself - Search past entries by mood, feelings, weather, and photos - Mori waits in the courtyard by the real time of day, and answers with matching expressions - A five-second greeting from the widget, daily reminder, or Mori’s page opens the usual full-screen record - After you save, Mori answers with a line from your own diary - A goodnight ritual: a reminder at the hour you choose, and a lamp you can dim in the room - Seasonal courtyard for cherry blossoms, rainy season, Tanabata, Mid-Autumn, autumn leaves, winter solstice, New Year, and Lunar New Year - Look back with a calendar, 7-day / 30-day trends, a four-week comparison, and weekly and monthly reports - Add photos, manually chosen weather, and life tags to private entries - Export your diary for dates you choose - Wade and use the log slide in the bamboo courtyard - Pat, hug, feed, and play for matching responses - Collect letters, outfits, and room decorations from Mori’s journeys - See that Mori is still on the way from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island - Arrange the tatami room with round windows and shoji; the layout syncs with iCloud - Open or save an entry from Shortcuts or the widget, with a mood already chosen - Use Apple Watch on its own: record a mood, look back, and spend time with Mori without installing the iPhone app first; entries sync when you add iPhone - Available in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese - Protect private entries with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode Your writing and photos are not made public. MoodFlow does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency help.

What’s new

Version 1.6.25 · Updated October 16, 2026

Compared with 1.6.11 on the App Store, Mori’s courtyard is a little livelier by day and quieter at night. - After a trip, Mori sometimes brings a friend home: a red panda, rabbit, fawn, duckling, or crane chick. Friends stay in the courtyard, wandering and resting. - A wooden rocking horse now sits in the courtyard. Tap it and Mori climbs on for a slow rock. - Tap open ground in the courtyard and Mori crawls over. The care panel can fold away to leave the courtyard to him. - Switch the lamp off in the room and the light fades gently while the courtyard turns to night too. Mori sleeps soundly, and a pat won’t wake him. - Come back after a while away and the courtyard keeps one small thing that happened while you were gone. - After you write a mood, Mori answers the next day with a line from your own earlier diary. His letters mention what you wrote, and each souvenir notes the day it came home. - Mori blinks and has more looks through the day. He rests where he finished playing, and feeding or hugging no longer interrupts him. - The calendar switches months with the arrows, panda faces are easier to see, and iPhone Duo is supported. Recording a mood and spending time with Mori is still the heart of the app.
