If we don't have a number from a named source, we say so and tell you who to call instead. We don't rank hospitals as good or bad, and we don't tell you a price is a bargain — that's your call to make, not ours. Prices come from the machine-readable files that insurers and hospitals are required to publish under federal transparency rules, and from Medicare's public quality ratings.
