About Pomodoro Timer: Tempo Focus

Tempo Focus is a Pomodoro timer, focus timer, app blocker, and personal time tracker with task tracking. Protect your attention and understand where your time goes. Plan the work that matters, start a focus session, put distracting apps out of reach, and keep a clear record of the time you spend on tasks, study, work, or personal projects. Tempo is designed to feel calm in daily use: simple when you need to begin, detailed when you want to review or adjust your time. Protect your attention beyond focus sessions with App Blocker Routines. Choose apps, categories, or websites, then schedule when they are blocked or set daily usage limits. Create boundaries for work, study, and free time. The Monitor page helps you understand your Screen Time. See which apps take up most of your time and how your usage changes over time, so you can decide where you want your attention to go. When you want a little extra access, Routines let you earn it through focus sessions or math exercises. Spend time reading, learning, or doing something you care about, then enjoy a small reward. Unlock requirements can increase with repeated use. Use Tempo to: - Run Pomodoro focus and break sessions - Plan and track tasks inside your focus flow - Start open-ended Stopwatch sessions - Block distracting apps during focus using Apple Screen Time - Choose default blocked apps or use Label Scenarios for different contexts - Organize focus time with labels - Add or edit entries when your day needs correction - Review session history, daily focus time, task time, and longer-term insights - Use Live Activities and Dynamic Island to keep the timer visible while you work Tempo is built for people who want structure without turning focus into another noisy dashboard. Protect the time in front of you, then understand how you spent it. The free version gives you a strong starting point for focused time. Tempo Pro unlocks deeper control, richer insights, custom labels, and more ways to shape the app around how you work. What’s new

Version 1.4.0 · Updated October 13, 2026

We’re introducing our biggest update to App Blocker yet. It’s one of the most meaningful updates we’ve made because it brings Tempo closer to its mission: protecting your attention. Tempo can now help you protect your attention beyond focus sessions, including during your free time. With Routines, you can choose apps, categories, or websites and set daily usage limits or schedule when they’re blocked. We also wanted this protection to feel connected to the time you spend focusing. That’s why we’ve introduced ways to earn access through focus sessions or math exercises. If you’ve reached your social app limit, for example, you can spend time reading, learning, or doing something you care about to earn a little extra time. It’s a way to make room for the things that matter while still enjoying a small reward. We’ve also created a new Monitor page for Screen Time, where you can see which apps take up most of your time and how your usage changes over time. It’s a clearer way to understand where your attention goes and decide what you’d like to change. We’ve put a lot of care into this update, testing and refining how it works. We’d love to hear how Routines fit into your day and what would make them better for you. Added - Swedish and Portuguese (Portugal) translations. - A new Monitor page to help you understand your distractions and see your Screen Time over time. - Routines for blocking apps, websites, and app categories with daily usage limits or scheduled time intervals. - Unlock methods that let you extend access or disable a routine through focus sessions or math exercises. Requirements can increase with repeated use. - A progress indicator to show how close you are to completing a routine’s unlock goal. Improved - Smoother interaction with the split-view selector. - Better accessibility for the update banner. - Label search in the History page’s label selector. - A redesigned paywall. - Session App Blocker controls directly on the clock, so you can see which apps are linked to the current label and whether blocking is active. - The Archived section now appears once a completed task moves into the archive on the following day. - A refined screen for blocked apps. Fixed - Performance issues. - Bugs affecting Live Activities in certain situations.
