What’s new
Version 6.0.0.25 · Updated October 11, 2026
This update is built from your feedback. Thank you for writing in. NEW • Meanings in your language. See definitions and example translations in your own language instead of English, in the app and on the widget. Turn it on from the new icon on the word card, or in Settings. Requires iOS 18 or later. • A widget that changes by itself. Set your widget to move to a new word as often as every 15 minutes, on the Lock Screen too. Nothing to tap. • Add your own words. Paste or import a whole list, including Quizlet exports. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, type just the words and the app fills in the meaning, word type, level and an example. • Quick guides. Short animated walkthroughs show how Immersion and Add Words work. IMPROVED • Search in Words is now instant, even across tens of thousands of words. • Today, Immersion and Add Words adapt better to wide and short screens, including iPad and landscape. • A Done button puts the keyboard away in Immersion and Add Words. FIXED • The quiz widget no longer repeats the same two words. • The widget no longer picks words whose meaning is just the word again.
