What’s new
Version 1.2.2 · Updated October 24, 2026
New: Visitor Add it when someone's coming to stay. Name who's visiting, and your friends see you as free, with company, so they can still make plans with you. Share more, on your terms • You can now share Work and Other events with friends. Both stay off until you turn them on, and they only show on your calendar, never in the feed. • A new "Other" choice in the event form, for events that don't fit anywhere else. • "View as" on your profile now shows exactly what your friends see. Apple Calendar fixes • Repeating events, like weekly meetings or classes, now show on every date instead of just once. • Deleting an event that came from Apple Calendar now asks whether to remove it from SoKal only or from Apple Calendar too. • Events you delete in SoKal no longer come back after a sync. Plus clearer privacy wording and behind-the-scenes improvements that help us find and fix bugs faster.
