Version 1.0.7 - Level 2 Content & AI Fixes This update brings Level 2 to life with monsters, NPCs, and proper AI behavior, plus enhanced monster distribution across all levels. Level 2 Content & Gameplay: • Fixed critical issue where monsters and NPCs were not spawning on Level 2 (Upper Ice Caves) • Added 200 monsters to Level 2 with proportionally harder difficulty (levels 2-4) - Arctic Fox, Red Fox, Snow Fox, Timber Wolf, and Arctic Wolf • Added 7 NPCs to Level 2 including 4 vendors (Weapon Smith, Armor Smith, Potion Master, Spell Vendor) and 3 quest givers • Monsters on Level 2 now properly move and use AI - fixed AI system initialization on level transitions • Added quest giver NPCs throughout ice cave levels (Levels 2-5) with proportionally harder quests based on level difficulty Enhanced Monster Distribution: • Significantly increased monster counts across all levels for more challenging and engaging gameplay: Level 2: 200 monsters (increased from 75) Level 3: 300 monsters (increased from 100) Level 4: 400 monsters (increased from 125) Level 5: 500 monsters (increased from 80) • Monsters are now properly distributed with correct difficulty scaling for each level Bug Fixes: • Fixed z-coordinate issue that prevented monsters and NPCs from spawning on Level 2 • Resolved AI system not initializing when transitioning to new levels, causing monsters to be stationary • Fixed monsters not moving on Level 2 and deeper levels - they now properly chase, patrol, and attack • Corrected enemy spawn system to use proper level coordinates (z-axis) for all dungeon levels Technical Improvements: • Enhanced level transition system to properly initialize AI and ECS (Entity Component System) systems • Improved enemy spawn system to correctly assign z-coordinates matching the current level • Better NPC spawning with level-appropriate difficulty scaling for vendors and quest givers • Enhanced quest system to support ice cave levels with harder quests that scale with level difficulty This update makes Level 2 fully playable with proper monster encounters, NPC interactions, and challenging gameplay. The enhanced monster distribution ensures every level provides an engaging combat experience with appropriate difficulty scaling.
