About Caretix: Screen Time Control
What would your day look like if you controlled your screen time instead of it controlling you? An average person spends about 7 hours a day on screens. Over a year, that adds up to around 3.5 months. Imagine that. More than a quarter of the year passed with eyes on a device, often without us even noticing. Screens are part of everyday life for work, communication, and entertainment, but too much screen time can quietly pull us away from things that really matter. It also affects how we feel. Long screen time can make us more distracted, increase stress or anxiety, and interfere with sleep, especially when we scroll late at night. Physically, it can lead to tired eyes, headaches, poor posture, and less movement throughout the day. This is why we created Caretix. It is an app designed for Apple devices to help you manage your screen time in a healthier way. Caretix lets you set a daily usage limit and once you reach it, the app steps in to help you take a break. You can set the threshold based on what feels right for your lifestyle. You also have the option to control specific apps, categories, or websites while keeping important tools and productivity apps available without limits. To make the experience more mindful, you can break your daily allowance into smaller sessions throughout the day. When a session ends, Caretix introduces an interactive intervention that temporarily blocks access and unlocks only after you complete a challenge, quiz, or short exercise. It is a gentle nudge that helps you pause, reset, and refocus instead of falling into endless scrolling. Caretix is built to support better digital habits, with small but meaningful steps that help you take back control of your time. But here is the interesting part. What if we actually paid attention to how we use our screens and made small changes along the way? What if we learned from it, adjusted, and slowly built a better balance in our day? Caretix gives you a way to try that out for yourself. You get the tools, you get the space, and you get to explore what works. So the real question becomes, if you had more time back in your day, what would you do with it?
