Songtake: Multitrack Recorder

Free multitrack recorder built for musicians. Capture song ideas as short videos, record real demos with multiple phones at the same time, and mix them without a DAW. Auto-saved to the cloud so you never lose a take. Two Modes: Ideas & Demos Save Ideas: Capture quick video clips of your musical ideas in small, compressed format to save phone space. Perfect for documenting riffs, melodies, and rehearsal moments. Cloud storage keeps everything synced so you never lose a take. Make Demos: When you're ready to record a real demo, use multiple phones at the same time. One tap starts every phone at once. Each phone adds a new video angle and its own stereo mics near the source, for cleaner and more mixable sound. Everything auto-syncs and saves to the cloud. No DAW or timeline editing required. On a Mac you can record multiple USB cameras at the same time instead, and plug in more mics when you want them. Easy project syncing across devices. Key Features: • Save Notes: Compress videos = 10x more ideas per GB • Free cloud storage: Auto-saved, never lose a take • Private by default: Your videos stay private until ready • Multiple phones at the same time: One tap starts every phone, every angle in sync • Multiple USB cameras at the same time: Record several angles from one Mac • AI stem splitting: Separate vocals, drums and bass to extract stems for remixes or karaoke • Overdub with video: Multitrack over your ideas • Syncs with any DAW: Open AAF on your favorite DAW • Export & share: From rehearsal to social media and music platforms in seconds • Collaborate: Connect with bandmates and like-minded creators Built by musicians who were sick of voice-memo graveyards.
