About Phone Tester: Dead Pixel Test

Phone Tester is a toolbox to check your iPhone or iPad. It shows your device specs and live memory, storage and battery readings, and lets you run quick hardware tests by eye and ear. --- WHAT IT DOES --- - Device info Model, chip, RAM, storage, screen and iOS version in one place. - Live readings Battery level and charging state, memory, storage, connection type and thermal state, plus a live graph of the CPU used by this app. - Hardware tests Dead pixel test with solid colours, speaker tones, microphone level, bubble level, compass, barometer, proximity sensor, light meter (relative brightness), GPS accuracy, Bluetooth scanner, keyboard and gesture tests. - Export and widgets Export your device specs as a PDF and add Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. - Pro (optional subscription) Removes ads and unlocks extra tools: decibel meter, gyroscope, magnetometer, metal detector, pedometer, altitude, thermal state, touch latency, haptics, NFC check, Face ID test, charging analyzer, more display tests, CSV and JSON export and PDF without watermark. --- GOOD TO KNOW --- It does not read battery health or charge cycles: iOS does not give them to apps (see Settings > Battery). Some tests need the right hardware, for example a barometer or a proximity sensor. COMMON QUESTIONS Does it need an account or internet? No account. Everything is read from the device itself; only the optional latency test uses the internet. What can it actually measure? Whatever the device's own sensors expose: level, compass, magnetometer, barometer, gyroscope, ambient light (relative, not lux), microphone level, battery level, storage, memory and the screen's dead-pixel test. Does it show battery health? No. iOS does not let apps read battery health or cycle count. Check Settings > Battery > Battery Health. Is the metal detector real? It reads the magnetometer, the same sensor the compass uses. It reacts to ferrous metal and to magnets. It is not an industrial detector and it will not find gold. Is the decibel reading accurate? It is the microphone's reading, uncalibrated. Good for comparing one room to another, not for a legal noise measurement. Does it change anything on my phone? No. It reads and reports; it does not clean, optimise or modify anything. Terms of Use: https://masaapps360.com/devicemonitor/terms/ Privacy Policy: https://masaapps360.com/devicemonitor/privacy/
