grep: your personal assistant

grep is your personal assistant. It knows everything you've saved, it knows you, and it gets things done. Save a page, a video, a place, a book or a note in one tap. Later, just ask: "What was that pasta place Sam sent me?" "What have I saved about heat pumps?" grep answers from your own things, by text or by voice. SAVE ANYTHING • Share to grep from any app, or save straight from Safari • Web pages, videos, places, books, photos, notes and voice memos • Point the camera at a place, a book or a film poster and add it PLAN YOUR DAY • Calendar, tasks, habits and reminders live next to what you saved • Collections for the things you want to share • Projects for the things you're going to do, with their files and checklists EVERYWHERE ON YOUR DEVICES • Widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen, and buttons in Control Center • Add a note or a to-do from Siri and Shortcuts • iPhone, iPad and Mac, with the same library on each A HOME THAT IS YOURS • Everything is kept as ordinary files that belong to you • Works offline • No ads. No account needed to start saving WITH YOUR GREP NODE The app saves and organises on its own. Add a grep node, which is a Mac or Linux computer of your own that stays on, or one we run just for you, and grep becomes your assistant: • Ask in plain words and get an answer, with the things you saved behind it • Talk instead of typing on iPhone and Mac • It works out what each thing you save is, and files it for you • Ask about the wider world too: it searches the web and finds real places, with opening hours • It gets things done: "Put dinner with Sam on Friday at 7." "Remind me to renew my passport." • Give it a bigger job and it works in the background, then comes back with the result • Routines on your schedule, and follow-ups when there is news • It remembers what you tell it about yourself, and you can read, correct or erase that memory • It asks before it changes, sends or deletes anything. One button stops everything it is doing • Your devices stay in sync Set one up at grepit.app. grep is the same on every device, and it grows with you. More is on the way.
