Television Wasteland

"When television is bad, nothing is worse...Keep your eyes glued to that set until the station signs off. I can assure you that what you will observe is a vast wasteland." - FCC Chairman Newton N. Minow, 1961 In this era of streaming apps, do you miss the "vast wasteland" of television? Television Wasteland is here to warm your heart and numb your brain with dozens of channels of public domain weirdness, courtesy of the Internet Archive. Retro classroom films ("Duck and Cover"), classic horror ("Night of the Living Dead"), industrial safety films ("Shake Hands With Danger"), and so much more. Television Wasteland isn't just about what you watch, but *how* you watch. Swipe up and down to change the channel, left and right to change the video. Choose from eight different filters to emulate the look of vintage CRT TVs. If you want to really mix it up, enable visual filters to apply one of the 20+ effects to the video you're watching. Television Wasteland isn't just a streaming app, it's a video playground. Relive the old days of flipping through channels, looking for something to watch. It's like free cable TV from an alternate universe. This ain't TV. It's a Television Wasteland.
