What’s new
Version 1.0.233 · Updated October 29, 2026
A big one. Navigation has been rebuilt around gestures, and there is now a short tutorial the first time you open the app that shows you each one and lets you try it. New - Full-screen posts by default. Swipe up through the feed, or swipe left and right to reach Chats and your profile. - Add a location to any post. - Share a link to a post or a profile. Paste it into a chat and it unfurls into a card that opens the post in the app. Private posts are never linkable. - Double-tap to like, on both the full-screen and compact layouts. - A Close Connections filter in your Following list. - People without a profile photo now get their own colour instead of a blank circle. Fixed - A fresh install opened in light mode even on a phone set to dark. - The close-connection marker was slow to appear, and was missing from the chats list entirely. - Unfollowing someone on your close connections list now warns you first, and removes them from it. - Profiles with no posts showed a spinner forever. - Hashtag search now searches everything rather than only the posts already loaded. - Comments and chats no longer show out-of-date names and profile pictures. - A long list of Android-only layout and crash fixes.
